Today, Today Tab Ads will be officially launched on the App Store in mainland China.
According to Apple's official data, Today tab is the front page of the App Store, where more than 500 million visitors explore new apps every week.Today tab ads are located in the second display on the front page, displaying the app's icon, name, and subtitle, and will redirect to a customized product page after clicking on the ad.
Here is some basic information about Today tab ads:

I. App icons, names, subtitles and custom product page material resources must not contain violent, offensive, pornographic content, or other inappropriate content. It is prohibited to use images that contain guns, weapons or bloody and violent content.
II. Customized product pages used must be localized in the default language of the country or region where the campaign is placed.
No pricing, offers, rankings, or other incentivized promotions may be included in the App icon, name, subtitle, or custom product page material resources. App rankings and App incentive claims are also not allowed.
App name and subtitle must match the language of the country or region where the campaign is set to run.
The phrases "Today's Game" and "Today's App" may not be used in the App icon, name, subtitle or customized product page material resources.
App names, icons, subheadings, and custom product page footage resources must comply with Apple's advertising policies.
Enabled: The ad has been approved and is running.
Ad in Review: Your App icon, name, subtitle, custom product page material resources and material license file (if applicable) are still awaiting review and the ad is in Pending status.
Custom Product Page Incompatibility: The ad is in Pending status because the Custom Product Page selected for it contains material resources that are incompatible with the country or region in which the ad group is placed. An ad may also be in Pending status if the custom page material resource is only available for iPad, because Today tab ads can only be served on iPhone devices.
Custom Product Page Deactivated: The ad is in Pending status because the Custom Product Page selected for it has been deactivated in App Store Connect.
Ad Content Rejected: The ad cannot be placed because the app icon, name, subtitle, or custom product page material resource does not meet the Today Tab advertising guidelines or does not comply with Apple's advertising policies.
Custom Product Page Deleted: If the custom product page you selected is deleted in App Store Connect, your ad won't run.
Documentation Issues: The ad is in Pending status because the campaign is set to run in mainland China and requires a material authorization file, or one or more screenshots from the selected Custom Product Page caused the material authorization file to be rejected.
Suspended: The ad has been suspended by you.
Pending: The ad is in pending status for a variety of reasons.
